A healthy industrial unit is equally necessary for its owner, employees and national growth. According to an estimate every truck brought on road gives indirect employment to 6 persons on an average. Vaastu's competence to ensure healthy growth of the unit through balanced flow of various elements is not in doubt any more. Attitudinal change is sure in a very short period of time, after application of Vaastu remedies, such as correct placement of water source, water body and its usage. Northeast corrections have great bearing on the intuition as well as correct and timely decisions coupled with execution so necessary for successful functioning of an industrial unit.
Vaastu is different for business and industrial units and needs different analytic approach to problems and their remedies. Vaastuif applied right from the planning stage results can be amazingly favorable despite limitations imposed by the technical aspects of machinery installations, space constraints and statutory obligations as to area usage. For a unit already in operation, the Vaastucorrections and remedies can bring about positive results immediately; accumulating over a period of time.
To begin with, provide maximum possible foliage, creepers, large trees in the south, southwest and western sector of the plot and reducing its density as you move to northwest, southeast and finally least to northeast accompanied by an underground water tank. This action will protect the unit from wasteful expenditures, losses and bad debts. This will also promote better understanding right from the top management to the shop floor level.
The religiously following the process of construction as per the vaastu laid down principles alongside, the correct muhurt bhumi poojan, shilanyas and pravesh are, of course, necessary.
Selection of Plot.
The shape of the plot should be square or rectangular as per vaastu principles and should be aligned as per magnetic north and also the gradient direction to be appropriate. The adjoining rods should slope towards north or east, if not, they may be so leveled before construction begins.
Fencing/ compound Wall & Gate
Vaastu becomes auspicious with the putting up of a compound wall or fencing of the plot. It is advised to have low level walls on North or East side while taller and thicker walls on South & West Side.
Gates can be in the eastern and northern parts of the site, of course, depending on the road. If southern and western walls have to be used for gates, they can be put in the exalted zones as per vaastu.
Borewell, Overhead Tank and other Water Using Bodies/Facilities
1. A sump or well should be dug in the north of northeast, the bigger and deeper it is, the better it would be for efficient and profitable running of the factory. The length and breadth of the underground water tank should be in proportion of the length and breadth of the plot.

Factory Layout
The entry & exit of row material & final finished products is important the "flow chart" of production cycle should be clockwise as fare as possible. The material stacking, heating, storing etc is important and should be done considering directional importance. If heating is done in northeast corner or if scrap is stacked here then the factory may close down sooner.

8. From the point of view of movement of material in production process, the raw material may enter the machinery from the southwest and exit as processed and finished material from the northwest side.
9. The tables of the shop floor in charge and foreman may be provided in the southwest part of the floor.
10. The section in charge should face either east or north, and likewise all the labour may preferably face east or north, depending on the working positions.
