Career Promotion : Divine Gems : Ruby for Career

Ruby is worn to obtain desired results when Sun is astrologically
favourable, as it transmits the energy of the Sun to the wearer. A red colour ruby
brings wealth and property as well as blesses the wearer with children. He is
endowed with royal and fearless disposition duly protected from sorrows,
failures and afflictions. He can occupy a place of respect in the society with
high will power and spirit. The gem worn should be unblemished and good quality.

Ruby can be worn by judicious application of astrological
principles such as if the Moon or the Ascendent or the Sun is in a particular
sign, it may be calculated if it is good or bad to wear.

Ruby is useful for those born in signs Aries, Leo. Scorpio
and Sagittarius. However, Ruby may generally be avoided by those born in sign Taurus,
Gemini, Cancer,

Virgo, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.

Ruby tones up Muladhar
Chakra (Root chakra – base of the spine representing involuntary functions like
breathing, instinct & survival) and it is helpful in grief and depression.
It is great for fame and status building. It also treats problems related to
heart and eyes.

For good and growing career with
power and prestige, political success and government related jobs, Ruby can
safely be worn with Emerald with due diligence on the native’s horoscope.
Similarly, a combination of ruby and yellow sapphire is possible for sages,
teachers, healers, statesmen, and head of religious institutions. A genuine
1-mukhi rudraksh in the neck is great for ever growing power, prestige and
success.

It may, however, be remembered that Ruby representing Sun,
being one the two cosmic luminaries, can selectively be worn in the mahadasa
periods of Sun for general uplift and well being. If desired for health then
healing properties of a gem must be taken into consideration.

Only an able astrologer can decide about the auspiciousness
of a gem firstly based upon the Shadbal (Ishtphal-Auspicious &
Kashtphal-Inauspicious); and secondly the operating dasa period.  the For a balanced view, it is better to
assess Navamasa and Dasamasa charts, and also the Karkamsha in birth chart, for
greater name, fame and success.

The gem to be worn must be abhimantrit (energized) before
wearing, to be effective. Importantly, ruby is effective for wearing for full
four years from the day of its first wearing, after which it losses its luster
and capacity to give auspiciousness.  Gem
worn by someone else cannot be worn by any other person. Moreso, gem’s suitability
needs periodic reassessment due to changing fortunes and operating dasa and
mahadasa periods.
