Marriage Or Remarriage
The question of remarriage arises under the most serious malady caused either by the death of life partner or due to separation resulting in divorce under the influence of various and different planetary afflictions. The first is thrust upon the person under the malefic influence of Mars of the native.
Most serious broken marriages are the result of either spouse indulging in extra marital union – either openly or secretly. Generally, when luminaries (Sun and Moon) are in good aspect from the planets Venus, Mars and Saturn or Uranus, the marital relations are harmonious and legal. Added to this, the strength of Jupiter plays an important role in determining the legality of cohabitation. Affliction to Jupiter and or ninth house also can be a cause of unwanted union. It thus means that illegal relations are caused by severe angular afflictions (dosha) from Mars, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune to Sun or Moon. Even a badly placed or afflicted Venus may also adversely affect the marriage. In practical sense, divorces occur due to lack of mutual respect, understanding or adjustment.
If looked into seriously, there are signs of remarriage in such cases, most important of them being association or aspect between the 11th or the 12 on the one hand and the 7th or 2nd house lord on the other. Lords of 6th, 8th and 12 also play an important role. Experience has indicated that the remarriage can be expected in the periods or sub-periods mainly of Rahu. Jupiter is the causative factor of marriage in the case of women and the venus for a man. These planets being placed happily in the nativity can process remarriage and promise a happy married life. If these are in powerful transit, it can be an added advantage.

Tarneem Durga-samsara-sagarasya Kulod-bhavam
If the divorce has not yet been formalised and you want to ward off such an eventuality, the following can be chanted for seven days.
It will always be better if these are started under the guidance of a guru or a vedic pandit versed in the subject.
Vaastuwise, it will be an added advantage if it is ensured that the north-east to southwest axis is without any affliction caused by a column. The bedroom or sitting areas should be without a beam. Make sure that you live in a house which do not have a kitchen or a toilet in northeast sector.
Additionally, Rahu can be propitiated sitting in the southwest part of the house or your bedroom. Steps should also be taken to do shanti in case of affliction caused by Mars. You may take the help of favourable gems for desired results. Practising hast-mudras like Surabhi, Yoni and Linga is highly beneficial.
Remember, love begets love, hate for man or women in general is not a healthy attitude to lead a happy and contended married life.
